Eating Disorders

Inevitably the Active Survivalist will be accused of having an eating disorder. When it comes to reshaping the body and fighting off the effects of aging diet plays a large part. Too much food is deadly. Almost everyone eats too much and it's a wonder that people aren't even fatter than they already are. Fat deposits are building up around the vital organs of almost everyone and those deposits are solidifying and become harder to dislodge with every passing day. Food is everywhere, forcing the Active Survivalist to engage in a relentless battle against aging and decrepitude. Obsessive behaviour or tremendous discipline is required to prevail against food and those offering it. Obsessive behaviour does have its dangers and it is possible for people to go too far but one shouldn't worry about being accused of having anorexia. Indeed an accusation is a sign of success. Your appearance is now noticeably different. You are leaner than almost everyone else around you. And you know that you are on the right track because you are stronger than ever before and feeling better than ever before. Diet is used to fuel and build the body not to be social or alleviate emotional stress. The amount of food taken and the time it is taken should be carefully considered. It is always better to eat too little than to eat too much. Keep in mind that those who do have disorders eat practically nothing, which is entirely counter-productive for those who seek a longer healthier life.

Hi RT

You must be my first visitor here apart from the spam comment above. Sorry I haven't been around much lately. I've been tied down with work, study and physical fitness training. Taking a bit of time out to collect my thoughts on the world situation. I've bcome a bit of a Libertarian too, a little like Torpedo8 but not so patriotic having discarded my dream of a world dominating Anglosphere. Good to here from ya!

Well, I was just wondering what you were up to. Figured his would be less intrusive than an e-mail.

Man, I need to become obsessive about physical fitness myself..... I'm flirting with 230 lbs and in the 10 years I have gone from working construction for a living to sitting in front of a computer has taken a toll on my endurance.

Blogging, and constantly searching for something to blog about, certainly ain't helping none.

I have a room full of exercise paraphernalia...... but I just lack the will.

Yep, the world's gone south on us AA. There's just too many idiots to defeat. And the Anglosphere, like myself and exercise, lacks the will to seriously try.

The ball's in our enemy's court. I still have faith they will provoke us out of our funk.

Thank Care AA.

Man, my spelling seems to have got worse over the years. I've just corrected some of the spelling in this post and now I notice I wrote "good to here from ya".

I've become a bit of an exercise junkie, annoying all those around me with new theories on exercise and diet which was why I changed this blog. I was 180lbs but am now 155lbs which is probably my ideal. One thing I would stress though is that diet is at least 80% of weight control, so first get the diet right and then you will find that exercising will become more attractive. A man can lose 2- 3lbs a week just on reduced calories alone - cut out all bread, pasta and starchy stuff and concentrate on meat, fruit and vegetables.
